New Brunswick education minister Bill Hogan said a review of a policy designed to protect LGBTQ2 youth in schools would include consultation with a variety of stakeholders, but some groups are wondering why they have yet to receive a call.
The review of Policy 713, which sets minimum inclusion standards for LGBTQ2 students in the province’s school system, was launched a month ago and Hogan told reporters on Wednesday that the results will be announced in two weeks. Ontario eliminates post-secondary education requirement to become police officers
Ontario will eliminate the post-secondary education requirement to become a police officer, expand enrollment for its basic training program and ax tuition fees at the Ontario Police College, the premier said Tuesday.
The moves are designed to get more police officers into communities, Doug Ford said.
“We need reinforcements, we need more police officers on our streets,” Ford said at the Toronto Police College.
There’s been a rise in auto thefts, assaults, break-and-enters and random acts of violence in Ontario over the past year, Ford said.

Ford government prioritizing medical education for Ontarians

The provincial government will add more medical school spots to give Ontario students more opportunities.
The government says $33 million will be added over the next three years for 100 more undergraduate medical school spots and 154 postgraduate medical training spots, especially for Ontarians.

Once again, Orlando Bloom is listing his modern Beverly Hills pad, this time as a rental for $35,000 a month, according to Mansion Global.
