Successful people know exactly how they got there. They are the goal-setters and dream-chasers of the world. Now imagine how much more they could accomplish if they started their vision to succeed at a young age! That’s why teachers should challenge students to dream big. And it all starts with a vision board.
What is a Vision Board?
Have you ever heard of the phrase, out of sight, out of mind?
Well, the vision board keeps dreams in sight. It displays the student’s goals in life made out of symbols, words, and images. It can either be their dream career,…
SGI is making some noise about their work in defining how loud is too loud for vehicles in Saskatchewan.
Previously, no exact definition was set for when a vehicle was too loud, with drivers and enforcement officers having to guess.
This applies to all light vehicles such as passenger cars, pickup trucks, minivans, SUVs and motorcycles.
Now, with the new definition, SGI Spokesperson Tyler McMurchy is hoping the new information helps people to keep the streets quiet.
“The standard of 101.3 decibels was based on research conducted by SGI on federally compliant vehicles. I believe they went to a dealership…

“One exam does not define a person’s ability” and “success comes to those who never give up” are some of the messages Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had for Class 10 and Class 12 students whose results were announced by the CBSE on May 12.
“It is a moment to rejoice the success and cherish the fruits of hard work that you put (in) all year round. Best wishes for a happy and bright future. Many friends might not have met (their) expectations. I appeal to them to not…

Alarm bells seemed to sound in teachers’ lounges across America late last year with the debut of ChatGPT — an AI chatbot that was both easy to use and capable of producing dialogue-like responses, including longer-form writing and essays. Several writers and educators went so far as to even forecast the death of student papers. However, not everyone was convinced it was time to panic. Plenty of naysayers pointed to the bot’s unreliable results, factual inaccuracies and dull tone, and insisted that the technology wouldn’t replace real writing.

Managing your finances can feel overwhelming. For many of us, learning important financial skills was not a part of our education.
That lack of financial education is costing us. A survey from the National Financial Educators Council shows that 38% of respondents say their lack of financial literacy costs them at least $500 last year. Eleven percent of people say it sets them back by $10,000 or more. A recent survey from Bankrate also found that more than half of Americans can’t cover a $1,000 emergency expense.
The results of these surveys aren’t surprising. The TIAA Institute-GFLEC Personal Finance Index…
Manitoba’s teachers’ union is raising concerns about proposed legislation that would create a new process to address educator misconduct — but an organization that advocates for children’s safety says those concerns are misguided.
General counsel Monique St. Germain said the Canadian Center for Child Protection was puzzled by issues the Manitoba Teachers’ Society had taken with the Education Administration Amendment Act, also known as Bill 35, which was introduced in the legislature on Tuesday.
“We see this as a really positive step in the right direction to help Manitoba processes and procedures for the discipline of teachers to be more…
