The Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières (CSCDGR) has announced the appointment of Jérémie Lepage as director of education and secretary treasurer.

“The school board trustees expressed their confidence in Mr. Lepage to manage the school board, guide strategic planning, and lead the CSCDGR for the years to come,” said board chair Roger Grégoire, in a press release issued Tuesday.

“His passion for Catholic education, innovative vision, and inspiring leadership will be invaluable assets to our board. Together, we will continue to provide a quality education while encouraging our students to reach their full potential,” Grégoire said.

Mr. Lepage has worked with the CSCDGR since 1998. He began his career as a teacher in 1997 at the École catholique St-Jules in Moonbeam before taking on roles as a learning consultant, school principal, and supervisory officer. As a supervisory officer, he oversaw special education, mental health, and school safety.

Lepage holds a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa.

“It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I accept the position of Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer for the
CSCDGR. I am committed to working closely with our educational community to ensure quality educational programs based on Catholic values ​​and to support the academic, social and spiritual development of every student,” he stated in the release.

Mr. Lepage will begin his official duties on January 1st, 2024 and will serve as the Associate Director of
Education starting Sept. 1, 2023.
