In fact, he is also known as the Lion of Africa. People who knows his background call him Okeosisi Orumba, a name that is only given to prestigious personalities in the Igbo society.
Dr. Godwin Maduka has made a lot of impact since he was born. He grew up at Umuchukwu LGA and also went to school there. Maduka studied at the prestigious University of Port Harcourt. He is even one of the notable alumni of the university.
However, he didn’t actually finish his studies at the University of Port Harcourt because he was indigent. Fortunately, he met a friend who helped him to gain admission into Rust College. 9. Dr. Olurotimi John Badero: He was born in Lagos State to the family of Chief Eliab Olufemi Badero and Mrs. Stella Taiwo Badero. As at 2023, he is the first and only cardio-nephrologist (kidney and heart specialist) that is fully trained all over the world.
However, his father was a fashion designer who later became a typist and administrative manager at Scoa Motors, while his mother worked (as a secretary) with Barclays Bank in the early 1970s.
Dr. Olurotimi attended St. Mary’s Private School in Lagos and later received his secondary school education at Federal Government College Odogbolu in Ogun State. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in Osun State, he enrolled in the Medical School. He went on to work at General Hospital, Isolo in Lagos State, and relocated to the United States.
